The main reasons for the rapid damage of the drilling fluid vibrating screen are: screen quality is unqualified, screen tensioning force, vibration motor steering error, clay accumulation, and so on.
The solution is:
1, the sieve tensioning strength is not enough, so the screen quivers, usually along the edge of the screen or the edge of the strip broken or damaged.
2, the quality of the screen is not qualified, the screen generally has the upper screen layering and the lower stress layer, which requires a tight fit between the two layers, if the screen pre-tensioning process is poor, when the stress layer at the bottom of the screen is taut, the screen layering is not tensioned, the throwing force of drilling chips is greatly reduced when working, and the drilling chips can not be discharged.
3, vibration motor steering error When debugging the vibration motor steering, the field operator according to the previous experience of single-axis vibrating screen or linear vibrating screen, that as long as the drilling cuttings go forward, but this method does not apply to the flat elliptical vibrating screen. Suppose the motor incorrectly rotates to the inside, although the throwing Angle is also 45° forward, the drilling cuttings have a backward rolling force. In that case, the forward migration of drilling cuttings is much slower, and the stay time on the screen is long, and it even leads to the drilling cuttings not being discharged.

The solution:
① When the screen box is running, press the stop button of the electric control box, at this time the vibrating screen will slowly stop, observe the elliptical track formed by the small print on the side plate when the vibrating screen is running, and roll to the sand outlet for correct steering;
② Remove the vibrator shield and check whether the eccentric blocks rotate outwards;
③ Replace any 2-phase lines in the power supply of the electric control box, sprinkle some sand on the screen, and the one with the faster sand discharge speed is the correct direction.
4, drilling fluid vibrating screen clay accumulation vibration amplitude is too small, it is difficult to screen under the condition of polymer drilling fluid, and can not effectively overcome the viscous force of drilling chips (clay), resulting in drilling chips accumulation on the screen and rapid damage to the screen.
The solution:
① Increase the vibration amplitude;
② Flush the screen and drilling cuttings with sprayed water to reduce the viscosity of drilling cuttings, but this method is only suitable for occasions where water is allowed to be added;
(3) Adjust the screen Angle at the end of the sand discharge to downward, which is conducive to the discharge of rock debris by gravity, but may lead to pulp running;
④ Replace the mesh number of the screen or adjust the flow rate of the single screen to ensure that the flow stop of the drilling fluid is close to the screen outlet so that the drilling chips are smoothly discharged under the lubrication of the drilling fluid.
